Today was pretty much mmmazing. I got to be lazy, earn a few bucks at work, and I get to spend the night with my sweetie too! Hoorah.
Evan has been staying the night practically every night that I've been on break, so we haven't been sleeping at all. Literally. Maybe... an hour or two a night total? Not healthy but oh-so-fun. So last night we stayed up until 5 watching this horror movie I downloaded called MAY.
It was really weird. About this girl who had a lazy eye growing up, and her mom made her wear an eyepatch so she never made any friends. Her best friend was a china doll in a glass box her mom gave her. It skips ahead to when she is about 25 or so, and she falls in love with this man she says has "beautiful hands." She's really socially awkward, but he starts paying her attention anyway. But she scares him away at one point, starts this lesbian affair with this girl who claims to have feelings for her. Then the lesbian cheats on her, so she's all by herself again. She starts teaching blind kids, and she takes her "best friend" there to show it to them, they break her. So May decides she is going to make her own best friend out of all the people she loved from their beautiful parts. She takes the neck and shoulders of the lesbian. The legs of the girl her girlfriend cheated on her with. The arms of a guy she made friends with on the street. And the hands of the man she loved.
Weird ass movie. But it made Evan and I laugh SO FREAKING HARD. And he made fun of my laugh because I was laughing so hard I was SNORTING and hissing. It was adorably cute.
Anyway, he had to leave early this morning because he had to be at work at 9:30 and I live really far out in Leicester. So he left, and I wound up sleeping until 2:30 in the afternoon. My mom came in my room and jumped on my bed to wake me up.. (that and to ask if we had gotten her cigarettes and papers the night before, which we had... even though we didn't get home until 2 in the morning.) I played with the puppies for a little while then went to work. Best shift ever. 5-9. Very short and sweet. David and I pretty much screwed around until it was time for me to leave.
Evan picked me up and took me to Carraba's, which is pretty much the most amazing place I have ever been to. The bread is fucking AMAZING. They bring you plain bread, and then a plate of different seasonings that they pour olive oil onto. Delicious. Evan kept arguing that Carraba's is now "our place." Which I objected to just to hear him argue. He is adorable. I love him so much.
Ophelia keeps eating my Sonic the Hedgehog bracelet. She is silly.
Evan is sick, and I need to pet him and watch Stranger Than Fiction.
Until later.
MWAH.
