Me, I'm Not

Bringing in the New Year with Evan is going to be absolutely freaking amazing. I've never had anyone to spend New Years with before, and it feels good to know that I have something SOLID that I can hold and look forward to. Something so beautiful and nice that I don't worry whether I'm going to lose it the next day or not. Solidity. Nice.

We plan on going to the parkway for the fireworks. Sit in the dark on a blanket. Eat cookies and wait for the new year to rain down on us. I wanted to drink champagne, because I never have on New Years, and it just seems like a nice, traditional thing to do. But Evan and his amazing self had a fabulous idea of not doing that, and instead taking a thermos of Hot Chocolate. :) I love this boy. 21 years old, and turning down alcohol. :D Happy I am.

I owe so much money right now it's ridiculous. My next paycheck is going to be shit. $9 an hour is great, but next week I only work 9 hours, and the week after that I work 4 hours. I knew hours were going to be cut back after Christmas, but I'm going from working 38 hours on a paycheck to 13. Ridiculous. I have to pay for the New York trip on the first day back to school, and I also have $300 to put into my Graduation stuff. Craaap. :S

Have I mentioned how bad I want a Voyager cell phone? They are AMAZING. So freaking awesome. I was talking to Juan (Verizon friend) and he was talking about how it would only cost me about $300 to get my number transferred over to a Voyager. He is so cute. "I went on your myspazz (He calls it Myspazz because he can't say Myspace. haha) and I was going to leave a comment saying "I love you more than Michael!" but I didn't. Because I'm not a good typer." He is so adorable. HAHA. XD Love that kid. His wife is so pretty too. I didn't even know he was married! Shocker.

My mom just told me some guy named Chris called me earlier. She asked for his last name and he said I didn't know his last name but it was the Chris I didn't like very much. ??? Confusion. The only Chris I know is Chris Dennis. Besides the Chris I had German with last year... but I don't see how he would have our new phone number since we moved. =/ I'm not sure. Weird.

Before I forget, I met the most AMAZING person earlier today. A gay guy named Sammy. He was adorable and I wanted to squeeze him until he popped. He came into work wanting me to price adjust something for him. So Samantha and I started giving him a hard time and he was joking around with us and threatened to drive his car into the building through the front door and wreck everything. This guy was standing there and he said "You better not try to hurt my girls or I'm going to have to shoot you!" and Sammy said "All I have to say is that you'd better not be standing in front of that door!" It was HILARIOUS. He kept yelling "I know your name and where you work, Missy!" to me. He went to sign the signature capture and the pen isn't attached to the string. So he grabbed the string and was like "I can't sign with a wire!" So I gave him the pen. He said "This store is all up in some ghetto."

He was amazing, and made an otherwise shitty day into a very enjoyable one.
I love people like that.

I FINALLY TALKED TO KRISTINE AGAIN!!! HOLY CRAP IT'S BEEN FOREVER!!!

Kristine: what have you been up to lately?
Shtephi: Work. It sucks so bad.
Shtephi: You?
Kristine: picking up the pieces of my life, big move, trying to get a new job
Shtephi: That sucks. But at least you get to start fresh
Kristine: with almost nothing
Kristine: barely any clothes, sleeping on the couch, no friends. ick. the only real thing i'm loving is the kitty and when my family is nice
Kristine: its just family drama that isn't fun
Kristine: plus, i don't wanna make any friends here, so the next two years will be interesting :( i don't wanna start college
Shtephi: That really does suck.
Shtephi: I know how you feel.
Kristine: i don't know.. there wasn't anywhere else i could go
Shtephi: yeah. I guess you just need to keep doing what you're doing. Look for a job. Save money.
Shtephi: Love on your kitty
Kristine: ugh.
Kristine: blah and i'm not allowed to have black hair and the red is an accident, like it always is
Kristine: [pokes] do i have to drag everything that is going on with you out of you? :P
Shtephi: no.

Kristine: heh.

Shtephi: It'd really be easier if you just read it
