Deer are very erotic creatures.

I'm not updating because I have anything to say, but because my dear Bekah has been giving me a hard time.  Which I guess is only fair, because when she was in school and too busy to update hers, I gave her hell about it too.  :D

So what to say?  Ooh!  I saw Splice tonight.  It was the first horror movie I've seen in the theater in a long time.  I didn't even get to see Nightmare on Elm Street.  You'd think that with me working at the movie theater I would see movies all the time.  What with me having the ability to get in for free any time I want to.  But when I spend so much time there at work, I don't really want to be there when I have a choice.  Anyway, Splice was unexpectedly... good.  The acting wasn't horrible.  The plot was interesting.  And there is a twist at the ending that no one would see coming.   It's rare for me to like a modern-day horror movie, so if you get a chance I would definitely recommend dropping by the theater to see it.  4/5 stars on the Stef-Scale.

I'm going back to school.  I'm making it official.  After almost 20 years of being on Earth, I finally decided what I want to do.  For the longest time I thought I wanted to major in English.  Become a teacher.  Be like Mr.  Fullington.  My idol.  But after taking so many classes at Ab Tech, and having teachers that didn't really care about making connections with their students, I changed my mind.  I realized that I don't want to be a teacher.  I only thought I wanted to major in English because all the teachers that I had in English throughout my life made the subject more exciting.  So anyway, I was laying in bed the other night, contemplating.  And it finally hit me.  Video Games.  I know it sounds stupid, but it makes complete sense.  I hate wasting my time working on something that interests me not-at-all.  One of my strong interests is videogame development.  I could spend all of my time around games and never be bored.  And I'm willing to go get the schooling I need to accomplish this mission.  I want to work for Valve.  I have so many awesome ideas.

One more thing and I'm going to finish this. Michael, Link and I played an absolutely AMAZING game for the 360 called Deadly Premonition.  It was the most ORIGINAL, fantastic thing I have ever played.  It had us constantly laughing and making jokes.  But the story was actually really interesting.  I got so attached to the characters in the game that at one point I cried for 30 minutes over a part that was really depressing.  Then Michael re-played the same episode of the game the next day and I started Baww'ing again.  The most amazing thing?  This game is brand new.  Has been out for about 3 months.  And was $20 brand new on the shelf.  If you have an extra $20 anytime soon, definitely get this game and try it out.  Alan Wake is also pretty badass.  It's a lot like Deadly Premonition, but it has it's own personality.  I've played it for about an hour and the controls are pretty easy to get used to, and it's scary as hell.  I love it.  :D

Anyway, I'm going to go play some Alan Wake now.  :D
That's all from me for now.
Rock on, and have a good night/day!

I wouldn't say Splice was strictly a horror film. In fact, I'd say it was more Science Fiction than Horror. It just had some horror elements to it. I think that's why people are hating on it so hard, not just because they are dumb, but also because they were led to believe it would be a horror film and they're stupid. Either way, I enjoyed watching it with you guys, we need to do that more often. Also; a one-to-five rating scale is dumb and stupid. Stop it.

I'm really excited about going back to school, especially since we both finally know what it is we want to do, and it's the same for both of us. That's awesome. FUCK YEAH CAREER! I'd love to go to school together again, but actually take the same classes. :D

Deadly Premonition > Alan Wake

FACT.
