We're beautiful and dirty rich

I shouldn't be doing this right now but I need someone to rant to and cry to without them getting tired of hearing it.  Not that you guys want to hear my bitching either, but I basically just need to get this shit out of my system, and I also think it'd be good for you guys to read this because it might pertain to you someday and I don't want you to have to go through what I'm going through.  So there ya go.

I feel like I'm dying.  I've said this before, but this time I'm serious. My kidney infection came back.  But that's not why.  Basically, here's what's going on:

You all know I was supposedly over my kidney infection a few weeks ago and I was feeling a lot better.  I had been taking the antibiotic Bactrim and it seemed to work really well on me.  It took the full week of me taking the pills to make me feel better, but I felt fine after taking the meds with no side-effects at all, so I was really pleased with the result.  I felt fine, was making sure to drink more water than usual (because I assume that's how I got the infection in the first place. Dehydration is the #1 cause of UTI's / Kidney / Bladder Infections, and I am really bad for not drinking enough water.  Plus I took Mucinex 2 days before and that shit dries you out completely if you don't drink several glasses of water while you're taking it.), etc.

On Monday everything went to shit.  My back was hurting again, I was nauseated.  At first I thought I had just caught something from work, no big deal.  I took some pepto, laid on the couch bitching about my back... Link rubbed my feet and got me lots of water so I wouldn't get dehydrated from the medicine.  I couldn't sleep at all that night.  Michael and I went to Urgent Care the next day and they told me that the Bactrim I was originally prescribed had a 20% chance of not curing the infection.  That 20% chance is what fucked me over.  They prescribed me a drug called Cyprofloxacin, telling me that it had a small chance of causing tendon problems and that if I started to have pain in any of my tendon areas for me to go straight to the emergency room.  It seemed to work fine for the first few days, I was feeling better and I didn't seem to be having any side effects.  The third day everything went to shit.  I woke up and I couldn't hold a coffee cup half full of water.  Closing my hands was nearly impossible.  I got online to do some research on the drug and discovered that it's not even approved by the FDA.  Apparently it's not illegal to market drugs that aren't approved by the FDA unless they cost more than $35.00.  Which, I don't know about you, but I find that to be fucking terrifying.  Allowing medicine on the market that tends to have more dangerous symptoms than what it's curing just scares the living hell out of me.  There were women complaining on one website of having extreme tendon pain after taking the medicine 7 years ago.  I haven't been on the medicine for almost a week and I still wake up every morning with my hands hurting.

Long story short, don't take Cyorofloxacin.  It's dangerous and causes things to get very difficult when it comes to paying medical bills.  =/

I had to go to the hospital to get my mom the other day because she had a seizure after dropping Ed off at work.  That sucked.  I woke up to find several voicemails on my phone telling me to rush to the hospital because my mom had a seizure and thought she was still in the year 2001.  Waking up to that kind of thing is extremely scary.  It feels like you're in the middle of some strange Lifetime movie and you can't get out.  She's fine, by the way.  My mom, I mean.  They discharged her later on that same day.  I had to drive her home.  They didn't find what was wrong with her, but they directed her to a Neurologist and she's supposed to be making an appointment to see him sometime this week.  Hopefully it's nothing serious.  Our family just got over the whole ordeal with my grandfather going through Chemo for his lung cancer.  We don't need any more scares like that for awhile, thank you very much.

There's really not much else to report.  I'm getting back around $850.00 for my tax return, so that's pretty sweet.  I was supposed to be getting my check in the mail yesterday, but it still hasn't came.   Which annoys me.  I have about $300.00 worth of purchases I need to make really soon, plus bills need to be paid.  I hate bills. :(

That seriously all from me for now.
Rock on!
