That sweet old man is going to be your best friend

So, I've been having a lot of recent night outings lately, and it's really showing me just how important my friends are to me, and how much I missed out these past few years. I never really noticed until just recently how unknowing I was. Oblivious. I have always been a very loving, and at times, clingy person. I always had to have someone in my life. A love interest. Boyfriend, Fiance, etc. I have been so enveloped in having someone to hold me and confess feelings of love and adoration, that I didn't care about the IMPORTANT people in my life. But now I'm not really caring about keeping love in my life. I have enough love as it is. SO many people love me, and I love SO many people. These people are the center of my universe, and mean the worlds to me. I don't need anyone to hold me at night when I hardly ever sleep anyway. :)
Remember kiddies: Relationships come and go. Friends stay forever.

So last Saturday... Doug, Michael, Matt, Kyle, and myself decided to go see The Dark Knight for like... the 6th time. So we drove to Dougs to pick them all up, and then hit up Tastee Freez. It was awesome. We went and saw the movie, and then afterward waited outside Beaucatcher for like, and hour waiting for Evan to bring Heroes out to me so I can watch it again. But it was cool because we all just sat around smoking and telling gay jokes. Woot for immaturity. After that we met up with Wesley at Denny's. I don't remember much about what happened there, because it was like... 1 in the morning, and it happened over a week ago, but I do remember Michael asking "What if conjoined twins did it?" and Kyle almost dying of a heartattack from laughing for 20 minutes straight. Then we drove to the car wash and I rolled the windows down as it dried the car. It was hilarious and awesome. One of my favortie pasttimes. We dropped Doug off and then came home and went to bed.

Last night ROCKED MY WORLD. Michael and I met up with Alex and we went and saw Motion City Soundtrack. It was awesome. Margot & the Nuclear So & So's were MMMazing and Dear and the Headlights was also pretty cool. Motion came on and people FLIPPED OUT. They sang some awesome shit, and then left the stage. People were SCREAMING "Encore" so they came back out and did two sing-a-longs before leaving again. Alex and I kissed a few times, which was awesome. And there were some awesome people there (as well as some not-so-awesome). We left and decided to meet up with Wesley at Denny's. My favorite waiter was there, James, whom I met a few weeks before. We had some awesome conversations:
Alex: "Try to say 'Fuck New Zealand' without smiling or laughing. "
We all try to OVER AND OVER again, and it gets pretty loud.
Me: "We're probably really pissing people off."
Michael: "People are probably thinking "WHAT'S WRONG WITH THAT TABLE?!"
Me: "Or, WHAT'S WRONG WITH NEW ZEALAND?"
Wesley: "God, those kids REALLY hate New Zealand."
Alex: (Without laughing or smiling AT ALL.) "Fuck this. FUCK AUSTRALIA."
It was SO FUCKING FUNNY. There were also tons of penis jokes made, and I also got a video of Alex doing naughty things in the bathroom while people walked in. Awesome.

As we were leaving MARGOT & THE NUCLEAR SO AND SO'S WALKED IN. We were walking to the car and decided to get their autographs. And they also played with a stray mouse outside the restaurant. God, they were fucking awesome, and hot. I drove Alex home, and then crashed somewhere else.

And now I'm going to be late to work. WOOOT.
